Mango Salsa

My best friend's, sisters, boyfriend spouted this recipe off to me at a party a few months back. I used the only paper and pencil I could find and I'm so thankful I took the time and that he was willing to give his recipe to me. You know how difficult it is when you make up recipes and then try to tell people measurments. Well....he did GREAT. The salsa came out PERFECT!

Ingredients:

Head of Cilantro
3 Roma tomatos
1/4 white or red onion
1 small can of tomato sauce (8 oz.)
1 ripe mango (skin off and diced into cubes)
1/2 tsp garlic salt
1 tsp kosher salt
1 tbsp sugar
4 stems of Chives
4 jalapenos

Directions:

Rinse and take cilantro off the stems

Use a food processor or mochete and blend

Add in chopped tomato, onion, tomato sauce, diced mago, garlic salt, salt, sugar, chives, and jalapenos.

Blend until smooth!

Best to make this the day before use. It will bring out the flavors if kept overnight. ENJOY!

Serve with your favorite chips and of course...gaucamole!
