Sautéed Red Cabbage

Ingredients:

2 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil
1 small white or red onion, diced
1 small red cabbage or 1/2 of a large one, shredded
1 tbsp garlic, minced
2 tbsp soy sauce
1 tbsp Sriracha (half the amount for less spicy)
1 bell pepper (red, orange, or yellow), diced
Salt, pepper, sesame seeds, and diced chives to taste

Directions:

Heat skillet over medium heat

Chop or put all veggies in a food processor and pulse to finely chop

Add olive oil, garlic, onion, and bell pepper to the pan

Shred cabbage and add to pan once veggies are soft

Pour soy sauce on top of cabbage and continue to mix until cabbage is soft. This will take 6-10 minutes

Add the Sriracha, pepper, sesame seeds, and chives for taste and prettiness

*** This is a great side dish and a nice substitute instead of chow mein. Perfect no-carb substitute. Serve with chicken, shrimp, or add over white rice.
